This building blends several geometric forms into one structure. The sloping walls, recessed entrances and void exterior spaces create a dynamic appearance of movement and energy. The columns and girders define the structural elements, supporting the volumetric openings into the building. The roof, stairways and escalators reflect the colors of its surrounding landscape. Concrete walkways, asphalt pavement, vehicles and pedestrians add a touch of realism to the overall site and its daytime environment.
This museum incorporates sustainable design elements mixed with green materials to create an architectural building
that reflects its environment. Curtain wall low-e glass and triple glazing provides protection from direct solar heat gain. Thick concrete walls
act as a solar passive design absorbing heat during the day and releasing it into the building at night. The building's exposed structural framing
creates a spacious and dynamic transparency to the interior spaces allowing for natural daylight to enter and illuminate it.
A complex of multistory office buildings interconnected by similar geometries and forms creating a flow of circulation and space throughout. Each structure is constructed of concrete walls and floors with a curtain glass wall panels using Low-E technology. Metal frame canopies define the main entrances to several of the buildings and stairs + elevators allow for vertical circulation. Tropical plants and a curvilinear water fountain provide for a tranquil oceanic environment.
A Two Story Reinforced Concrete w/ Curtain Glass Wall Structure. First level consists of work stations, reception desk and restroom. Second level contains a bar counter, pool table, dance floor and aisle space for circulation. Two towers serve as means of egress.
Green Municipal Center: Space-Frame Steel Structure w/ Tinted Glazing, 5 Story Curtain Glass Tower w/ Elevator and Enclosed Bridge connected to the Main Pyramid Glass Structure. A cantilevered balcony serves as an outdoor cafe and social gathering place.
Mixed Use, Two Story Structure - Cast-In Place Concrete w/ Steel Frame and Curtain Glass Walls - Triple Glazed for Thermal Protection. Site consists of a swimming pool, concrete walkway, parking lot, landscape trees and outdoor terrace.
Two Story Structure consists of precast concrete panels and tempered glass. Interior and exterior spiral stairs define the vertical circulation between floor and roof top level. Mix of curvilinear and rectilinear walls w/ cantilevered balconies supported by concrete columns create the building's geometry.
Sustainable Roof-Top design provides the building with a recreational terrace that contains layers of sod, grass and plants which blend in with the environment. Swimming pool enclosure is designed to allow natural light and ventilation to pass through parts of its openings and glass panels.
